The Taco Bell Super Bowl ad is quite funny and just cements itself as the place to go when one is suffering the Munchies (or maybe that is just me). Looked like they were driving a fat mid-1970s Caprice.
California's North Coast is full of interesting vehicles. Then again, being from New York I think almost everything early/mid-1990s and older is interesting. Guess this place is where 1st Gen Sables and Tauruses go to retire because there are a decent number here. Saw my first Prairie yesterday, but did not have my…
Nice, thw two teams I dislike are not going to the Super Bowl.
I have also been looking at stick shift AWD RAV4s. Does anyone know if it its AWD is like a Tercel's with a locking differential or something like similar vintage (late 1990s) Subarus have?
Nice priced vehicles or too pricey?
Been drinking some Big Flats since Big Flats NY is less than an hour away and I finally got up to Cortland where there is a Walgreens. It is ok and you get what you pay for.
I suppose there is nothing wrong with buying a used Prius if you want a safe vehicle (that you might not care for too much) that gets good gas mileage in city driving. After all, you could have another vehicle that is more fun.
Do you think there is a difference between a 99-04 Honda Odyssey built in Ontario versus built in Alabama? I have been looking at LX trim level ones since they have fewer electrical do-dads.
HAPPY TWENTY 13 YOU CRAZY SON/DAUGHTER OF A GUN!
It is that time of year again!
I liked watching the TGUSA episode about driving through Arizona and Utah, but like the Rocky Mountain episode I feel it was too short and/or edited. I am right to assume the episode was mainly accurate?
Should I avoid these Siennas even if they have had drivetrain components replaced?
I am looking at Honda Odysseys to replace Sandy the Voyager and then I decided to look for something more interesting like a Pontiac Aztek. Amazingly enough Aztek is not one of the choices when looking for used Pontiacs on Ebay, but G3s are.
Oh hey, it is an 80-86 F-Series, wonder if it came in through Mexico? These trucks were somewhat common in South Central LA which was neat.
If I was to ever make a cult classic movie (like Blade Runner or Repo Man) I would want one of the main characters to drive a Suzuki Kizashi or perhaps an SX4 Hatchback.
The older AOTD* about "The Most Ridiculous Speed Limits" reminded me of one thing that was annoying about New Mexico.
Got some high temperature tape of various widths and colors for Xmas so I can try to fix Sandy's Radiator filler neck. Was also given this sticker which is not such a bad idea, I think she was almost towed once.
I have yet to see an in state dealer badge during my time in California. Is the outcry so great that no dealers stick them on?
